4ENG - Processes that Shape the Earth

4th Grade - Earth & Space Science - NGSS

Students explore the cause and effect relationship of weathering and erosion on Earth’s surfaces. They explore changes over time due to Earth’s forces and natural hazards.

Anchor Phenomenon: The Grand Canyon appears to have been carved out of the Earth. The land has many different shapes and features.

Driving Question: How does the surface of the Earth change? What made the Grand Canyon so deep and wide?

Engineering Design Challenge: Generate and compare multiple solutions to reduce the impact of weathering and erosion on humans.

Ordering Updates We have streamlined our ordering process. Our individual catalogs and order forms have been replaced by a single Interactive Order Form. This Excel spreadsheet contains our complete product catalog and includes dedicated tabs for Trade Books, Spanish Journals, Quick Orders, and individual unit orders, with each tab automatically calculating order totals as you enter quantities. To place an order, download the form, fill in your desired quantities in the appropriate tab, and email the completed file to suzan@bcamsc.org. If you do not have Microsoft Excel, the form can also be opened using Google Sheets.
