KENG - Weather & Climate

Kindergarten - Earth & Space Science - NGSS

Students explore patterns in weather and how it changes from day to day, using measurement of temperature, wind, cloud cover and precipitation. They relate their findings to weather forecasting to prepare for severe conditions.

Anchor Phenomenon: The story, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Driving Question: Can we observe the weather and find patterns to use to make predictions?

Engineering Design Challenge: Students design, analyze, and build a weather station that will relate data for temperature, precipitation, and wind direction and strength to collect data and determine patterns.

Ordering Updates We have streamlined our ordering process. Our individual catalogs and order forms have been replaced by a single Interactive Order Form. This Excel spreadsheet contains our complete product catalog and includes dedicated tabs for Trade Books, Spanish Journals, Quick Orders, and individual unit orders, with each tab automatically calculating order totals as you enter quantities. To place an order, download the form, fill in your desired quantities in the appropriate tab, and email the completed file to suzan@bcamsc.org. If you do not have Microsoft Excel, the form can also be opened using Google Sheets.
